Actions in support of the striking CNT-AIT Tomares workers!

When this is written the workers have been on strike for 106 days, and they need all the support they can get. Some days ago, 6 striking workers went on hunger strike, and one CNT-AIT member of Figueres (Girona) is on hunger strike in sympathy with the workers. See the updates on http://www.cnt.es/tomares/

The IWA-Secretariat has received a fax from the Permanent Secretariat of the National Committee of the CNT-AIT which is directed to all the unions of the CNT-AIT and the Sections of the IWA. It is a call for actions in solidarity with the workers and for protests against the company Ferrovial on Tuesday the 15th of July.

The CNT-AIT will additionally send dossiers about the conflict to the press, and also to the locals of the Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE) telling about the union busting practices of the PSOE in Tomares. Ferrovial is a multinational company, and the IWA-Secretariat has sent a list of offices of the company to the Sections and Friends of the IWA.
